For our project, we decided it would be best to raise money in hopes to donate to help bring water to Liberian schools in need. Water is very essential to our lives in keeping hydrated and staying healthy. It must be extremely hard to live life not knowing whether or not you will have safe water to drink that day.
We will be doing a car wash to raise money to donate. The money we raise will be donated to the Global Giving project: Bringing Safe Water to 10 More Liberian Schools. The project has a goal of raising $75,000 to provide hygiene materials and safe water for the Liberian schools. Rivercess
One of the most impoverished and underserved populations in Liberia, Rivercess has the second poorest level of access to safe water in primary schools. Most rely on contaminated surface water for drinking and lack water for things such as washing hands and basic hygiene. By donating to this Global Giving project, the money will be used to improve water access and bring more safe water for drinking as well as hygiene.
